Deputy Chair of the Membership Group for Pet Grooming Salons,
ZZF – German Pet Trade & Industry Association

Jennifer Welzel serves as the deputy chair of the ZZF’s specialist group for pet care professionals in the salon and is the founder of the dog grooming salon ““FLOTTE LOTTE – Fellpflege & mehr“.

She began her career in hotel management. Her experience in the hotel industry, in the international luxury cruise sector, and later in the energy industry strengthened her organizational, strategic, and communication skills.

Inspired by her Havanese dog Lotte, her deep passion for the grooming trade, and the overall shortage of qualified, professional grooming salons, she decided to pursue a career in pet grooming nearly four years ago. She completed professional training as a dog groomer and opened her own salon, “FLOTTE LOTTE – Fellpflege & mehr”, in Hamburg, where she combines animal welfare, craftsmanship, and professionalism – a true passion project.

Through her involvement in the ZZF, she is passionately committed to promoting recognition of the grooming trade, ensuring high-quality professional development, and strengthening the future of the pet care industry.
