For the first time, Interzoo is dedicating an entire day to professional pet grooming, creating an exclusive meeting point for the international grooming community with Groomers’ Day 2026. Live demonstrations with expert tips, networking opportunities, and new impulses for daily practice make this one-day event a special experience for all grooming professionals.
Groomers’ Day is aimed at groomers and professionals in the pet care sector who want to discover new techniques, trends, and products related to modern pet grooming.
The day will be accompanied by Kitty Dekeersgieter, founder and co-organizer of the internationally renowned grooming event “Groomania”, held annually in Belgium.
Her passion for dogs, extensive expertise, and commitment to the pet care industry make Kitty an invaluable supporter of Groomers’ Day.
The event will be moderated by Sophie Ciciliani, Education and Training Coordinator at ZZF – German Pet Trade & Industry Association, and Jennifer Welzel, Deputy Chair of the ZZF Membership Group Pet Grooming Salons.

Yes, dogs are welcome on the exhibition grounds! The Groomers’ Day event area is located near the exhibition park, with a relief area nearby. Please keep your dog on a leash; a muzzle is not required. If you wish to use the free dog care centre, a valid vaccination certificate must be presented.
