Roberto García Maroto (born in Palencia, Spain) is a professional dog groomer, handler, and international FCI grooming judge, with a career that began in childhood and has developed into a recognized presence in the international competitive grooming scene. 
 
Professional Career 
• Early Start (age 12): He began working in a shelter, where he discovered his vocation for canine aesthetic care. 
• Dog Shows (age 14): He presented his first dog in conformation, marking the beginning of his path as a handler. 
• Turning Point (age 18): He acquired his first Kerry Blue Terrier, a breed that became a defining milestone in his professional development. 
 
Since then, he has earned dozens of championships with various breeds and has been crowned champion in the four main competitive grooming categories. 
 
International Education and Judging 
Since 2017, he has carried out extensive international educational work, delivering seminars and masterclasses across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. He has served as a judge at some of the world’s most prestigious grooming competitions, including: 
• Mastergroom Brazil 
• Hyponic China and Vietnam 
• Groomania Belgium 
• Artero Grand Slam 
 
Current Activity 
He currently directs two My Dolce Mía grooming salons in Gijón, Spain, and collaborates with countries seeking his expertise to elevate the technical and educational standards of professional grooming.
